Mattel Creations Introduces Limited-Edition Gucci Cadillac Seville x Hot Wheels Collectible
A 1:6 scale replica of the ’70s automobile celebrating Gucci’s 100th anniversary.
Mattel Creations adds to its list of unique Hot Wheels collectibles with a limited-edition Gucci Cadillac Seville model in honor of Gucci‘s 100th anniversary. The collaborative 1:6 scale car model is based on the legendary “Seville by Gucci” Cadillac released in the late ’70s.
According to Gucci, the car represents “a paradigmatic expression of the late ‘70s flair and a testament to the Maison’s forward-thinking.” The Cadillac Seville was a collaborative project between Gucci and GM with the goal of adding Italian styling to the Detroit luxury automobile. The result was a highly sought-after car defined by a distinctive vinyl top covering only the rear C-pillar, an interlocking double “G” crest, a gold Gucci hood ornament, gold piping on the seats, Gucci wheel emblems, and web stripes across the trunk. The Hot Wheels model pays tribute to the classic car in authentic detail and is presented in a sleek display case and packaging produced by Gucci.

The Gucci Cadillac Seville x Hot Wheels model will be available on the Mattel Creations website and select Gucci retailers globally beginning on October 18.
