NODAWAY COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 3:30p.m. Wednesday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Jeep Laredo driven by a 15-year-old boy from Barnard was eastbound and a 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo driven by Eric L. Billings, 43, Barnard, was westbound on 410th Street east of Icon Road five miles west of Bolckow.
Both vehicles were traveling over the center of the roadway. The Jeep came over a hill and struck the front of the Monte Carlo.
Nodaway County EMS transported the drivers to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. A 13-year-old girl in the Monte Carlo refused treatment. The teen driver in the jeep was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
