Manchester United is amongst the big-name English Premier League clubs tailing Stoke City F.C. striker Emre Tezgel.

Stoke has been benefiting from the incredible nose for goals of Emre Tezgel. However, the narrative could change in the coming transfer windows as the prolific center-forward is now on the radar of big-name clubs such as Manchester United, The Daily Mail reported.

Apart from Manchester United, other Premier League sides such as Chelsea and Manchester City are also keeping tabs on Tezgel’s situation, the report said.

Tezgel is only 16 years old but has already managed to establish himself as a regular player for Stoke’s under-18s squad last season. To further hone his skills, Tezgel was accelerated to the club’s under-23s team in the summer.

It didn’t take long for Manchester United to notice Tezgel’s fine form, having notched a remarkable tally of seven goals in just four games for Stoke's Under-18s, including a sensational hat-trick against Liverpool.

Prior to that, Tezgel was also named player of the tournament for England Under-17s in Syrenka Cup.

What’s even more interesting, as early as now, Tezgel is already playing like England captain and Tottenham Hotspur talisman Harry Kane, a compliment he once received from Stoke City Academy Director Gareth Owen.

“He’s a Harry Kane-type centre-forward,” Owen said of Tezgel via The Daily Mail. “His movement is good, he can hold the ball up and he is decent in the air.”

“His main attribute, though, is his finishing and that’s what good centre-forwards have,” he continued.
