The Las Vegas Raiders have gotten off to a solid start to the 2021 campaign, but some questionable moves from the offseason have hurt them.

When a team goes 3-0 for the first time in nearly 20 years, it is truly hard to criticize the construction of its roster. However, with some close call victories, and a dreadful performance this past Monday against the Los Angeles Chargers, there are quite a few errors the Las Vegas Raiders made this offseason.

First off, you can not undermine the success this team has had this season, especially considering the team had quite the makeover this offseason. This could have resulted in negative results, but the boys in Silver and Black have more than surpassed expectations so far, even if the season is still rather young.

Before the season, looking at the schedule, you would be hard-pressed to find a Raiders fan that would not have taken a 3-1 start. However, things change, and the narrative surrounding the group is that they should make the playoffs this season, and if they don’t, it will be a disappointment.

With all of the success, there are plenty of mistakes that were made this offseason from general manager Mike Mayock and the Raiders, and I will discuss a few of them.
