The Savannah Music Festival is coming back for an encore, this year.
The annual event in March will be followed up by another musical series which will happen on October 19th-24th.
Ryan McMaken, Artistic Director for the Savannah Music Festival, said he is excited for the upcoming concerts. “We’ve been kind of rolling with changes, as most people are, trying to get back to concerts as quickly as possible," said McMaken. "So, we did a May series, and now, we’re doing this October series with some chamber music concerts and then a big outdoor concert at Eastern Warf Park."
From string quartets to a family “jam,” McMaken said there will be entertainment for all ages.
McMaken said they will be requiring proof of vaccination or a negative test within forty-eight hours of the concert, and it is important to note that all events will be limited to 500 people. McMaken said he encourages anyone who would like to attend to register online.
