American League East rivals meet in the Division Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and Boston Red Sox that begins on Thursday. The best-of-five series will be played at Tropicana Field and Fenway Park.

The Rays (100-62) had the AL's best record, winning 100 games for the first time in franchise history. Meanwhile, the Red Sox (92-70) had to beat the New York Yankees in the wild-card game to advance to the ALDS.
