The Tennessee Titans were without both of their star receivers in Week 5, as wideouts Julio Jones and A.J. Brown were both absent from the Week 4 loss to the New York Jets.
While Brown was considered week-to-week, Jones’ status has been a bit more ambiguous.
Jones initially suffered his hamstring injury during the Week 3 win over the Indianapolis Colts, which forced him to miss the stretch run of that contest.
When asked what happened to Jones, head coach Mike Vrabel said the wide receiver was dealing with tightness, making it seem like it wasn’t a big deal. However, as we later learned, it was enough to keep him out of Week 4.
Jones’ first opportunity to return to practice will come on Wednesday, and anything more than a did not participate would be a great sign after he didn’t practice at all last week.
Keep it locked into this tracker for all of the latest updates on Jones’ status for Week 5 (note: updates are below, with the latest news at the top).
