Kate Middleton leaned into the new fall season and more affordable fashion this morning when she wore a belted, checkered Zara dress to visit the University of London. Hello! reports that Kate has worn the dress before, and it's from a previous season.

The Duchess of Cambridge paired the dress with matching gray heels for her visit. Kate went to mark the launch of the university's Children of the 2020s project, which will study the development of kids born in the new decade (and during the coronavirus pandemic) from five months old to five years old.

Early childhood development is an area of focus for Kate in her public work. At the event, she highlighted the importance of those first years, saying, per People, “Our early childhoods shape our adult lives and knowing more about what impacts this critical time is fundamental to understanding what we as a society can do to improve our future health and happiness.”

Kate's appearance comes after she and her husband Prince William spent time speaking with Ulster University students in Northern Ireland last week. The couple reflected on their visit to the college on their Instagram, writing:

It's lovely to see @UlsterUni students reunited with each other on campus!

Having spent the day hearing from the student union and being reconnected with nursing students from earlier in the year, it’s inspiring to see how young people are promoting inclusivity following the pandemic in Northern Ireland.

@UlsterUni is continuing to develop a new generation of healthcare workers, including those doctors in the new School of Medicine, who will work in Northern Ireland and beyond once their studies are complete.
