The upcoming DCEU film The Flash will mark the return of Michael Keaton as Batman, a part that he last played almost 30 years ago in the 1992 film Batman Returns. Fans are excited to see him come back on the iconic role which made him a household name. Of course, one of the things that they're excited to see is the actor wearing the batsuit again.
During his recent visit on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Keaton was asked by Stephen Colbert if he still fits on the suit and if they needed to "let it out." The actor immediately responded with a "no." Then, he proudly said that it is "svelte as ever" with "same dimension" and "same fitting." When asked about how he felt about playing the role again, Keaton joked, "It's great. I don't know how many there are, like 77 Batmans. They think they should form their own union."
It is impressive to hear that Keaton still fits on the suit after all these years and it is great news for us fans who have been waiting to see him come back on the role ever since his casting was reported last year. It also sounds like Keaton is proud that he was able to fit on the suit again and happy with his experience reprising the role after 30 years.
Besides Keaton, Ben Affleck is also set to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman. The Flash will feature Barry Allen/The Flash as he travels back in time which results in an unintended consequence to his timeline and a multiversal adventure that would lead him to meet Keaton's Batman.

It has been speculated that a first look at the film will be shown during the DC FanDome event this coming October 16. Aside from Ezra Miller, Keaton, and Affleck, Sasha Calle is also set to appear as Supergirl, who is rumored to have her own HBO Max spinoff series in development.
The Flash is set to be released in theaters on November 4, 2022.
