Denny Hamlin earned the Busch Pole Award for Sunday’s Bank of America ROVAL 400 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval, an elimination race in the Cup Series Playoffs’ Round of 12.
Hamlin, already locked into the Round of 8 of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs after his victory at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, will start on pole for the fifth time in 2021 in the No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota. Brad Keselowski will join Hamlin on the front row in the No.2 Team Penske Ford. Joey Logano and Christopher Bell will start third and fourth respectively, and Martin Truex Jr. and Ryan Blaney will make up row 3.
Kevin Harvick, Chase Elliot, Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson will fill out the top 10.
The Cup Series playoff field will be trimmed from 12 drivers to 8 following the Bank of American ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval, which will air Sunday at 2 p.m. on NBC.
