Sam Pittman and Arkansas are working to not let the Georgia loss carry over to this week’s Ole Miss game in Oxford.

On the SEC coaches media teleconference, Pittman shared how the Razorbacks have bounced back from the lopsided loss in Athens.

“I think we’ve been great,” Pittman said. “Practices have been really good. The team’s responded really well. … You have to (put the game behind you) if you win, too. … Obviously, we have a great opponent we’re preparing for this week. … I don’t think last week’s game will affect us one bit.”

Pittman sees the development as a learning opportunity.

“Any time that you lose a game or go into a different environment, if you can learn from it, it should help you quite a bit the rest of the season,” he said. “Hopefully (last week’s loss) does that for us.”
