Manchester United 'have been pathetic and don't play good football' according to former Liverpool star Didi Hamann... who also claims only Cristiano Ronaldo is keeping them competitive and that he expects the club to 'sack' Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Manchester United have been severely criticised by Didi Hamann following their inconsistent start to the season, with the former Liverpool star claiming boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will inevitably be sacked.

Despite making major summer acquisitions including Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane, United have wobbled at the start of the campaign - winning just two of their last six matches in all competitions.

Although United are still just two points off the top in the Premier League title race, Hamann believes only Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored five times in his first six games, is keeping them competitive and that Solskjaer has failed to integrate his other summer arrivals into his talent packed squad.
