Oklahoma County COVID-19 vaccine tracker: 56% of people fully vaccinated

Some 56% of people living in Oklahoma County are fully vaccinated as of Oct. 5, according to data from the the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they've been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).

Oklahoma reported 619,738 total cases of coronavirus, an increase of 2% from the week before.

Oklahoma County has the highest percentage of their population fully vaccinated in Oklahoma as of Oct. 5.

The others in the top five are Caddo County (54%), Tulsa County (54%), Canadian County (53%) and Noble County (53%).
