Broadway Technology, a global fintech firm that provides an automated repo service, has announced the hire of Carlota Parages-Torres and Jim Bruen as directors of business development.
Based in London, Parages-Torres brings 25 years of experience in financial markets to the role, with a focus on trading and workflow solutions to buy and sell-side clients.
She spent more than 20 years with Bloomberg, where she most recently led fixed income electronic trading solution sales to Tier-1 UK asset managers. She also held roles as senior UK buy-side execution platform sales and relationship manager and sell-side order management system sales.
Prior to this, Parages-Torres worked in repo sales for Compagnie Financiere Tradition for three years.
Based in New York, Bruen has almost 30 years of experience in the global financial and technology markets, with specific expertise in front-end electronic trading systems.
He has worked as managing partner and director at Luminosity Group and held senior relationship management roles at Fidessa, Vela Trading and Trading Technologies, as well as serving as executive director and CEO of ZincMedia Group.
