Red Sox down Yankees in AL WIld Card, Cardinals-Dodgers play NL Wild Card tonight

The Boston Red Sox are on to the ALDS with a 6-2 win over the New York Yankees at Fenway Park last night. The Red Sox begin their AL Division Series at Tampa Bay tomorrow night.

The St. Louis Cardinals play the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight in Los Angeles in the National League Wild Game. Adam Wainwright heads to the mound for St. Louis to oppose LA’s Max Scherzer. The winner will move on to face San Francisco in a NL Division Series. Meanwhile, the Dodgers are losing their longtime ace for this year’s postseason run. Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts announced Tuesday that Clayton Kershaw is expected to miss the postseason with an injury in his throwing arm. Roberts is hopeful Max Muncy can return from an elbow injury at some point during the postseason.
