The Cleveland Browns have started the season 3-1, but they should look at a trade for one of these three guys to become legit contenders.

As we enter Week 4, the Cleveland Browns are now 3-1, tied for first in the division, and just under a month away from the trade deadline. To this point, it has been an extremely interesting season.

In Weeks 1 and 2, the offense looked very good, pushing the ball up and down the field, but the defense struggled to stop the opposing offense. It wasn’t surprising that the Chiefs had success on offense, but the Texans had far too much success for fans liking.

Then the switch completely flipped. The offense has struggled the last two weeks vs. the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings, but the defense has been on fire. The Cleveland Browns have had some success running the ball, but Baker Mayfield has not been accurate passing the football.

The defense on the other hand has been dominant against the run and has made it very difficult to score points. In the last two weeks, the defense has given up just over 300 yards and a total of 13 points. The Bears offense wasn’t great, but the Vikings offense the Browns shut down on Sunday was performing at an extremely high level.

The big question now is, is there a missing piece the Browns should trade for before the deadline? In a year where big contributors like Baker Mayfield, Denzel Ward, and Jedrick Wills are still on rookie deals, this may be the last chance the Browns have at making a splashy trade.

Below are three players the Browns should at least consider making a call on.
