Ben Affleck‘s feelings towards his time shooting Justice League with Joss Whedon have long been made public, but the actor has now revealed that reprising his role for DC Comics and Warner Bros.‘ upcoming The Flash movie with Ezra Miller was a much more pleasant experience.

Speaking to Variety, the actor said that “It was a really nice way to revisit [Batman] as the prior experience had been difficult.” He continued to say that it was “really fun” and that he “had a great time” before jokingly saying “I’m probably under some gag order that I’m not even aware that I probably just violated and I’m now going to be sued.”

Diving into more details about the actual production, Affleck also showed admiration for his co-star Miller, who plays the titular character in the film, as well as his excitement over his reunion with Justice League companion Jason Momoa. “I love Ezra and I had a chance to see Jason [Momoa], who’s over there making ‘Aquaman [and the Lost Kingdom],’” he remarked.

Affleck won’t be the only Batman in The Flash. Back in April, it was confirmed that Michael Keaton — who played Bruce Wayne and the Caped Crusader for 1989’s Batman and 1992’s Batman Returns — will also reprise his role as the Dark Knight, though most likely from a separate timeline within DC’s massive multiverse.

Elsewhere in entertainment, you can now watch Matt Damon and Adam Driver prepare for battle in The Last Duel‘s opening scene.
