BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — The Flyers had a mostly minor league lineup and little apparent enthusiasm in Webster Bank Arena, home of the Islanders’ AHL affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

Anthony Beauvillier opened the scoring with a power play goal 1:32 into the game, and from there the New York Islanders coasted to a 3-0 preseason victory.

Anders Lee doubled the lead with a goal with 54.6 seconds left in the first, and there it stayed as goalie Cory Schneider held court for the Isles the rest of the way. Josh Bailey finished the scoring with only 15 seconds left to play. For the Flyers, goalie Martin Jones had 27 saves, while Schneider stopped 24 Flyers tries.

Philadelphia is now 2-2-1 on the preseason. Their next game is Friday night in Washington.
