Rugrats | We Meet One Of The Newest Characters Gabi With The Help Of Raini Rodriguez [Exclusive Interview]

The Rugrats have been around for thirty years! Yet our favorite characters from the series are still babies! Tommy Pickles, Chucky, Angelica, Kimi, Phil, and Lil are still entertaining us over at Paramount+ in an all-new series that launched earlier this year. One of the biggest changes this version of Rugrats brings is making the parents more relatable to audiences. This is because the original fanbase is now in their thirties. Crazy right?

In this new series, the Rugrats have now added a new character! Her name is Gabi Gutierrez and is voiced by actress Raini Rodriguez. You can see this new character in the clip below!

Gabi is fourteen years old and is Betty’s niece. She grew up in a house where both English and Spanish were spoken. Something very relatable to a lot of Latinos that grew up in the United States. She is beloved by the babies, especially Angelica. She sees Gabi as a cross between a cool aunt and her favorite babysitter. This should come as no surprise as Gabi is lively, fun, and hip. Along with having a sweet nature that draws in kids and adults. Some of her favorite things to do are reading to preschoolers and helping out at Betty’s Beans. She is without a doubt a teenager that is full of energy!
