Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe has opened up about how it really is working with Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Now that Lionel Messi has joined PSG’s dynamic duo Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, the pressure is mounting as the French side is expected to reclaim the Ligue 1 title once again.

Thus far, the attacking trio hasn’t really pulled off a full throttle performance this season. Despite their differences, Mbappe is well aware of what Messi and Neymar can do and he’s also certain they all want PSG to win.

“When you play up top with players like that, you have to share the cake so that all three can eat,” Mbappe told RMC Sport via Marca. “You can't say that you'll pass to one and not the other. You have to be smart. There will always be moments of frustration, but the only interest the three of us have is to make PSG win.”

“It's very easy to play with Messi, really,” he revealed. “He really understands football, always knows what to do. If he has to dribble past everyone and score a goal, he'll do it. If he has to play with one touch, he'll do it. He's one of the best, if not the best.”

Like in other clubs, Mbappe and Neymar also had their fair share of misunderstandings. However, the 22-year-old stressed that he has a “great respect” for the Brazilian and such things happen in soccer “sometimes.”

“It happens sometimes,” the PSG striker admitted. “I have great respect for Neymar as a player and as a person. There are a lot of cameras now, but this is football and we have no problems.”
