New York Comic Con is held at the Javits Center in New York City. Tickets are still available. New this year is a “digital ticket”, the website gives the details of this new option:

The 4-day Digital ticket gives you access to live video panels streamed during the event for most major panel rooms, audio streams for smaller rooms, and on-demand access to the recordings for 30 days after the event. You’ll also have access to NYCC exclusive merchandise online.

TrekMovie will be giving NYCC full coverage, so check back this weekend and next week for all the news.

I still don’t get how the mirror enterprise D can exist if humanity is supposed to be enslaved

it’s not completely enslaved. the comics tell, earths solar system was not conquered by the coalition. the terrans were able to build the enterprise D. the solar system is the last outpost of the terran empire.

Ahhh I see, thanks

It might be in a different Mirror universe.

That’s how I am able to explain away the MU in Star Trek Discovery and DS9. It’s not the same. Only the first MU visit on DS9 retained elements of it. After that they decided it was something else.

I don’t get it either, but maybe it makes sense if you read the comic.

Fair enough

I don’t know why I’m so confused this year, but let me make sure I understand – without purchasing the “digital ticket,” we won’t be able to watch even the Discovery panel live, right?

So if we pay the 20 bucks for the digital ticket, does basically mean that we will be able to stream the Prodigy premiere, or is that only available if you’re actually there? And if we do get it, will we have to listen to fans cheering and stuff, or will we be able to watch it just like a regular episode?
