The souped-up New York Knicks will be even more of a legit contender in the Eastern Conference this season after their feel-good run the last time out.

But with the new NBA season just a few weeks away, the question remains for the Knicks: Who will start at the point guard spot? Obviously, the team has two credible guys who can run the show in Derrick Rose and offseason addition Kemba Walker. While they have almost similar styles, they still offer different dynamics for coach Tim Thibodeau.

There's a possibility that Walker, who has been a starter his entire NBA career, could come off the bench for the Knicks to relive Rose. But for the ankle-breaking PG, it's a non-issue (via Alder Almo of Empire Sports Media).

“For me, I’ve always been a huge D-Rose fan, regardless if I’m starting or not starting. Whatever, like it doesn’t even matter. I just want to win. And to have a guy like him—a former MVP, a guy who’s been through it all—to be on the same team with him is really special for me.”

The 31-year-old Walker, who's coming off an injury-stricken season with the Boston Celtics, has always been a team player and a classy guy. So for sure, he won't cause any internal problems for the Knicks.

With Walker, Rose, Julius Randle, RJ Barrett, and Evan Fournier at the forefront of the roster, the Knicks should pose heavy threats this season.
