UPDATE: The victim has died from his injuries.
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) – Rockford Police are investigating after a man was shot Tuesday night.
A 28-year-old man sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound near Jonathan Ave. and N. Rockton Ave. around 5:40 p.m., according to the Rockford Police Department. Police asked that people avoid the area while they investigate.
