Netflix's Star-Studded Love Hard Film Looks Like Our New Favorite Holiday Rom-Com

Netflix

Netflix is bringing together some of your favorite stars for its latest holiday rom-com Love Hard. From the team behind 2020's Holidate, the film centers on an online-dating story gone awry. After LA journalist Natalie (Nina Dobrev) finds love with an East Coast guy named Tag (Darren Barnet) on a dating app, she travels across the country to meet him, only to find out she's been messaging Tag's childhood friend Josh (Jimmy O. Yang). On Thursday, Netflix shared the official trailer for the movie, and we're already tearing up.

As if the plot wasn't intriguing enough, the film also features a mini Crazy Rich Asians reunion with Yang and Harry Shum Jr. "I love that guy," Shum told POPSUGAR about working with Yang again for the film. "Even when I first met him, I immediately gravitated towards him. He's just a cool dude that I don't think people get to really see on screen as much. It's like our roles got reversed in this movie in a sense. I would normally play [his character] and he would normally play the jerk brother, so it was really fun to play that." The film is set to release in November, but in the meantime, you can learn more details about the movie ahead.
