The restaurant offers a casual dining menu with cocktails for people.

California-based restaurant chain Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar will hold the grand opening for its first Florida location Oct.13.

Lazy Dog at 9636 Glades Road in Boca Raton will have 8,421 square feet of dining space, a 1,825-square-foot patio and include seating for up to 344 people.

The restaurant offers a casual dining menu with cocktails for people and another menu for canines, which are allowed in the eatery's patio area.

"We are excited to open our doors and introduce the Boca Raton community to Lazy Dog," said Chris Simms, founder and CEO of Lazy Dog.

There are currently 39 Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar locations across seven states.

Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar is currently working on permitting to allow dogs in the patio area.
