Woman Arrested After Suspected Crystal Methamphetamine Found During a Traffic Stop

(KNSI) — A 34-year-old Pillager woman is under arrest after police say they found around half a pound of suspected crystal methamphetamine in her car.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says they had been investigating the use, sale, and trafficking of drugs around the area when police made a traffic stop on Monday in a rural area near Pillager. During that stop, a K9 search of the vehicle allegedly turned up the crystal meth, along with other drug paraphernalia and cash.

The driver was arrested and booked into the county jail, where she is awaiting formal charges.

KNSI does not typically name suspects until they have been charged.
