Kylian Mbappe was keen on a move away from PSG this past summer, but the club didn't fulfill his wishes. Nonetheless, he's made it clear that he's still happy in the French capital. Well, for the time being.

With the Real Madrid rumors looming and Florentino Perez making a bold statement this week on their pursuit of Mbappe, the France international has spoken out on what he envisions his future will be after this season. Based on  Mbappe's answer, you'd certainly believe he's set on leaving PSG. Via Fabrizio Romano:

A valid example from Mbappe. No one could've predicted that Leo Messi would end up in Ligue 1 after almost two decades with Barcelona. But, things happen and changes need to be made.

As for Mbappe, he's had some problems recently on the pitch with Neymar and is clearly keen on a dream move to Real Madrid. Aside from potentially winning the Champions League with PSG this season, he doesn't have much left to prove in France.

The French outfit could've cashed in on Mbappe for €200 million in August when Los Blancos forked out a huge amount of money, but Paris wasn't the least bit interested in selling. With Mbappe becoming a free agent next summer though, he is eligible to put pen to paper on a pre-contract agreement in January, which Madrid is reportedly working on.

Through 11 competitive appearances in 2021-22, Mbappe has already scored four times and supplied five assists for a star-studded PSG side. It's going to be very interesting to see what his future will look like.
