Adele just confirmed new music is on the way and soon! The Grammy winner announced new single "Easy On Me" will drop on October 15.
The news comes after fans suspected something was up after mysterious billboards appeared in several different cities with the number “30” on them over the weekend. Adele’s last 3 albums have been titled 19, 21, and 25.
Adele is 33 now, but age 30 is the year fans are speculating is the year this album was recorded aka before she separated and filed from divorce from Simon Konecki in 2019.
If the album is called 30 and Adele and Simon called it quits when she was 31, could the album possibly be about everything going wrong that lead to that divorce? People are also speculating that the reason Taylor Swift moved the release date of her Red re-release.
The news led to a question for me: If you wrote an album about a very emotional/ impactful year of your life, which year would that be?!
