In an attempt to bolster their anemic offense, the Chicago Bears got Justin Fields and the team's attack some help by trading for Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jakeem Grant. This, according to Tom Pelissero of The NFL Network.

The move comes shortly after the Bears scored a 24-14 win over the Detroit Lions at home in Week 4. This is a low-risk transaction for Chicago, as the team only shipped a sixth-round pick for someone who's likely just going to be a depth guy for the Bears' passing attack.

Grant has played in four games this season for the Dolphins and has registered negative receiving yards on only two catches. In addition to that, Grant has appeared in just 13 percent or fewer snaps in each of those four games.

If anything, it's Grant who's the winner of this trade as he gets away from a Miami team that doesn't appear to have any interest in featuring him. With the Bears, Grant might see a slight uptick in his usage and could benefit from the trickle-down effect of the absence of running back David Montgomery due to injury. Nevertheless, Grant should still find himself behind Allen Robinson and Darnell Mooney in the pecking order.

The soonest Grant can make his debut for the Bears will be in Week 5 against the Las Vegas Raiders on the road.
