My favorite thing about Minneapolis is the bars and restaurants. You can find delicious foods (and drinks) in nearly every corner.

The Twin Cities has it all, from sushi to burgers to pasta! And now, thanks to Slice Inc., Minneapolis is also home to authentic, delicious, and affordable New York-style pizza.

After a long process, the restaurant created by Adam Kado and Hosie Thurmond officially opened last Saturday, October 2nd, at 519 Hennepin Ave.

On Facebook, the owners wrote:

"We want to thank everyone for your support this weekend. We are truly humbled at the hospitality we received by the city of Minneapolis and the neighborhood at our grand opening. A special thank you to everyone who waited patiently for their pizza in the rain as we worked assiduously to serve everyone who showed up. The only way we can ever pay you all back is to always strive for excellence in serving this community."

Slice Inc. is essentially a take-out and delivery pizzeria. The New York-style pizza can be ordered in slices or as a whole pie, and so far, the reviews are excellent.

On Instagram, the creators wrote:

"As a black-owned pizzeria we are so excited to bring this to the Minneapolis area."

So, if you find yourself craving pizza, support these young entrepreneurs and order some of the best-tasting pizza in Minneapolis!
