An interesting update by a credible Genshin Impact leaker called Ubatcha1 has apparently revealed the release date for one of the upcoming characters - Arata,k Itto.
The addition of a new character is probably the most exciting thing a casual Genshin Impact player is looking forward to, especially in the latter stages of the game when there aren't as many quests and events to enjoy.
The official Genshin Impact Twitter account has already made clear that Thoma is probably the next character to be released. Recent leaks have revealed a bunch of interesting characters like Gorou, Tohma, Yae Miko and others. Even though we have no official confirmation, the majority of leaks claim that he's going to be a Pyro character. Also, the overall theme of his design strongly hints towards a Pyro character.
Leaks are pretty common in the Genshin Impact universe. An interesting name has been mentioned numerous times over the last couple of months and his name is Arataki Itto. He was also mentioned by multiple NPCs in the game's main storyline. Apparently, he was beaten by the playable character Kojou Sara who took his Vision. When it comes to his appearance, Itto is described as a tall buffed character with two giant horns on his head.
A credible Genshin Impact leaker called Ubatcha1 has revealed that we might get Itto in update 2.3 which should drop around October 20. He will be accompanied by the Albedo who might get his first banner re-run.
According to multiple leaks, Itto will apparently be a brand new Geo character which will make him the sixth Geo user so far. It should be noted that Gorou, whose vision is also Geo, will probably join the character roster fairly soon.
