A FIFA player got a response from EA after jokingly claiming Bruno Fernandes kept disappearing whenever he played against a higher-rated team.
Liverpool fan @Bhartiya_Kopite tweeted EA's official FIFA account with the tongue-in-cheek comment but it appears as though the joke was lost on the admin.
The gamer wrote: "Please help me @EASPORTSFIFA I recently purchased a Bruno Fernandes off FUT market which seems to perform very well when I am facing teams below my rating. But, as soon as I face team with higher rating than me he disappears from the field."
Surprisingly, EA's help page replied to the Liverpool supporter and treated the query as though it was a genuine bug or glitch affecting the game.
The reply read: "Hi Hendostani, thanks for getting in touch, apologies for our late reply. I am sorry to hear that you have encountered a bug within Fifa 22 that makes Bruno Fernandes disappear when you play higher-rated teams.

While there have been some bizarre bugs in FIFA 22 so far, of course the fan was making a joke regarding Fernandes going missing in games against the top sides.
Despite the Portugal star having a transformative effect since his arrival from Sporting CP in January 2020, many believe Fernandes hasn't done it when it matters most.

In fact, there have even been compilations to back up that theory - with United legend Paul Scholes even saying his lack of big game performances were "really worrying".
On FIFA, Fernandes' card has been upgraded to an 88 rating and he is one of the United's best players on the game.
