Britney Spears Shows #FreeBritney Movement Love, Says She Cried Because 'My Fans Are The Best'

Britney Spears gave the #FreeBritney movement a shoutout!

"#FreeBritney movement … I have no words … because of you guys and your constant resilience in freeing me from my conservatorship … my life is now in that direction !!!!!" the 39-year-old captioned a clip on Instagram on Monday, October 4, where she wore a white crop top with white shorts. Kanye West‘s song "Fade" played in the background.

"I cried last night for two hours cause my fans are the best and I know it … I feel your hearts and you feel mine … that much I know is true 💞 !!!!!" she added.

Spears' post comes after her father, Jamie Spears, was suspended from the conservatorship on Wednesday, September 29.

The "Toxic" singer's attorney Mathew Rosengart said "the conservatorship can and should be wound up and terminated promptly — ideally this fall," during the hearing.

John Zabel, who is a certified public accountant, was appointed as temporary conservator of Spears' estate, which is effective through December 31.

Spears was placed in her conservatorship in 2008 following a mental health crisis. The #FreeBritney movement dates back to 2009 when a fan site raised concerns about the conservatorship, The New York Times reported.

Since then the movement has surged in popularity with celebs such as Ariana Grande and Ashley Benson showing their support. Fans have also protested outside of court while conservatorship hearings have taken place.

Shortly before Spears spoke to the court in June, Asghari posted a photo of himself wearing a #FreeBritney t-shirt on his Instagram Story, as previously reported by OK!.
