Which Couple Left 'Dancing With the Stars' Last Night?

Dancing With the Stars has said goodbye to its second couple, leaving just 13 celebs left in the race to lift the Mirror Ball trophy. Last night (October 4) was Britney Spears Week with the couples performing to some of Britney's biggest hits including "Baby One More Time", "Toxic," "Womanizer" and "Oops...I Did It Again."

This week, judge Derek Hough was absent out of caution due to possible exposure to COVID-19, meaning the stars were scored out of 30 rather than 40. Sadly for one couple, they were not so "Lucky" and were eliminated from the competition. Newsweek has everything you need to know about the results of Dancing With the Stars, week 3.

Which Couple Left Dancing With the Stars Last Night?

Sadly, Bling Empire's Christine Chiu's Dancing With the Stars journey is officially over.

Chiu and her professional partner Pasha Pashkov were eliminated from the competition, after facing off Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore and her professional partner Brandon Armstrong in the bottom two.

This was Christine's second time in the bottom two, after finding herself there in Week 2 against Cobra Kai star Martin Kove.

Sadly, the judges did not unanimously vote in her favor this time, voting to save Moore instead.

A round of applause for the tremendous growth that Christine showed in the ballroom! You’ll forever be a part of our #DWTS family ❤️ pic.twitter.com/0kw03q0Mfd

Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli voted to save Moore, meaning automatically Moore was safe.

There was some division among the judges over the result. When host Tyra Banks asked head judge Len Goodman who he would have voted for, he responded he would "without a doubt" have voted to save Chiu.

On the night, Chiu performed the Paso Doble to Britney's "Stronger", earning praise from the judges, who also insisted they did the right thing in saving her in Week 2.

Chiu also came in joint third place on the leaderboard, with a score of 21 out of 30 but sadly, it was not enough.

Fans have been sharing their sadness online about Christine's exit from the competition.

One fan tweeted: "It's a shame that Christine was eliminated on #DWTS. She was a better dancer than some of the celebs that get to continue." whilst another wrote: "Very exciting episode of #DWTS celebrating @britneyspears! Very sad to see @christinecbling get eliminated #BritneyNight."

A third fan added: "Nooooo Christine shouldn't have gone home nooo. I LOVED HER ON THE SHOW #Dwts."

Who Was At the Top of The DWTS Leaderboard?

They were followed by Melora Hardin and Artem Chigvintsev in second place with a score of 23.

Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke, who has been absent from DWTS for the past two weeks after both testing positive for COVID-19, performed a routine in two separate rooms over Zoom. Despite performing their best effort, Cody and Cheryl received the lowest score on the night at just 18 points, placing them at the bottom of the leaderboard.
