After Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were spotted out to dinner together earlier this week, fans have started speculating (again) that the estranged couple might be getting back together. And, as if the photos of the pair weren't enough, a source close to Kimye added a whole heap of fuel to the metaphorical rumour fire when they revealed that the former couple are "working on rebuilding the foundation of their relationship."
ICYMI, Kim and Kanye (who filed for divorce in February) were photographed leaving a restaurant in California over the weekend [see the photos here]. Naturally, fans of the couple took to socials to discuss a potential reconciliation, leading to comments from an insider source being brought into the spotlight. Speaking to TMZ in August, the source revealed that the duo had been spending time together privately, and that it was possible Kim could withdraw her divorce petition.
The source's intel, combined with all the recent Kimye sightings and, of course, their non-stop matching outfits, mean fans are more convinced than ever that the exes will get back together. "Kim & Kanye will get back together. You heard it here first," one fan tweeted, while someone else said "Kanye putting up all his work space in Wyoming up for sale is very interesting. Maybe he’s serious about reconciling with Kim."
But another source close to the couple dispelled the rumours. Speaking to US Weekly earlier this week, the insider said: "They have more of a friendship and working relationship as they coparent. They’re not back together." The source did confirm that Kanye is "still styling Kim" though, which explains those matching outfits.
So, although Keeping Up With The Kardashians is well and truly over, there's clearly still so much to keep up with when it comes to this family.
