EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders is lining up a shocking baby storyline for Chelsea Fox.
Chelsea is recently out of a relationship with serial killer Gray Atkins, after calling him out on his aggressive temper. She doesn't know that he has killed wife Chantelle, Tina Carter and Kush Kazemi.
The impact of their split will continue to linger next week when Chelsea is shown nervously looking over a pregnancy test.
In later scenes, Chelsea tries to open up to mum Denise Fox about the results of the test, yet decides to keep her fears to herself when her mum assumes she's just hungover.
Gray has moved on from his relationship with Chelsea to begin pursuing his children's babysitter Whitney Dean once again.
When Gray admits to Whitney that he regrets ever getting involved with Chelsea, Whit feels conflicted because of the cruel way he's speaking about her acquaintance.
Whitney will ask Chelsea to meet with her. Though Chelsea assumes Whitney is going to ask for her blessing to date Gray, Whit catches her by surprise when she quizzes her on whether she's pregnant.
Chelsea is taken aback, but doesn't completely shut Whitney out. The two end up spending more time together, with the beginnings of a genuine friendship starting to bloom.
Whitney is still having suspicions so she feels compelled to ask Chelsea again whether she's expecting Gray's baby. What will she say?
EastEnders bosses have previously confirmed that Gray's murderous past will finally be exposed soon. Zaraah Abrahams also recently expressed hopes that Chelsea will be the one to catch him.
"Chelsea is very nosy, she's always going to be investigating because she's quite a selfish person," she said.
"So I think she will always be up in any of her boyfriends' business. But if she found out about Gray, that would be very explosive!"
EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on BBC One.
