Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street villain Harvey Gaskell lines up a new target next week as he vows to take revenge against Toyah Battersby.

Harvey (Will Mellor) is currently in jail after Toyah's sister Leanne helped to bring him down earlier this year.

In upcoming scenes, Toyah (Georgia Taylor) manages to jeopardise Harvey's chances of a successful appeal, leaving him furious.

The drama kicks off after Toyah's partner Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) comes clean with her about how his ex-wife Sabeen has been blackmailing him to help with Harvey's case.

Imran reluctantly admits that he cheated on Toyah after Kelly Neelan's trial verdict and Sabeen later used this information against him.

The timing couldn't be worse for Toyah, as she and Imran are due to start fostering a 4-year-old girl called Elsie.

As Toyah considers the future of her relationship, she bumps into her ex-partner Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) in the Victoria Gardens.

Peter suggests that Toyah shouldn't give up on what she has with Imran. Toyah then returns to the flat – all smiles for the social worker who's bringing Elsie over – but it's unclear whether she has really forgiven Imran.

Later in the week, Toyah is horrified to find out from her nephew Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) that Imran borrowed his phone in order to uncover information about Sharon Bentley.

Toyah steals Imran's phone to discover more about what else he has been doing to help Harvey. She then confides in Peter, who's furious that his son has been used like this.

As the day continues, Sabeen tells Imran that she has been accused of misconduct and has had all of her cases taken away.

This is because someone has forwarded Sabeen and Imran's private texts to Sabeen's boss.

Imran realises that his phone is missing and Toyah must be the one responsible for forwarding the messages.

Harvey's appeal has now been compromised, so Sabeen visits the evil drug dealer in prison to reveal that Leanne's sister Toyah has ruined everything for him.

Once back in his prison cell, a seething Harvey vows that he'll now take his revenge against both of the Battersby sisters.

Corrie bosses have confirmed that Harvey will escape from a prison van as part of ITV's Super Soap Week later this month.
