BOSTON — Projected lineups for Tuesday night's AL wild card game between the Yankees and Red Sox at Fenway Park, start time at 8:08 p.m.

Yankees

1. Gleyber Torres, 2B

2. Anthony Rizzo, 1B

3. Aaron Judge, RF

4. Giancarlo Stanton, DH

5. Joey Gallo, LF

6. Gio Urshela, 3B

7. Brett Gardner, CF

8. Kyle Higashioka, C

9. Andrew Velazquez, SS

SP: Gerrit Cole, RHP

With DJ LeMahieu (sports hernia) on the injured list, manager Aaron Boone is inclined to keep Torres in the leadoff spot. ... The Cole-Higashioka pairing keeps Gary Sanchez in reserve as a pinch-hitting option. .. In a win-or-else situation, the bet is that Boone goes with his best infield defense, with Velazquez and Urshela on the left side and Rougned Odor on the bench.

Red Sox

1. Enrique Hernandez, CF

2. Kyle Schwarber, DH

3. Xander Bogaerts, SS

4. Rafael Devers, 3B

5. Hunter Renfroe, RF

6. Alex Verdugo, LF

7. Bobby Dalbec, 1B

8. Christian Vazquez, C

9. Christian Arroyo, 2B

SP: Nathan Eovaldi, RHP

In major setback for the Red Sox, J.D. Martinez is off the wild card roster due to an ankle injury, having tripped over second base Sunday, jogging out to his outfield position. That likely brings Dalbec in play as the first baseman with Schwarber switching from the outfield to the DH spot.
