Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence and wife Marissa Mowry enjoyed some quality time during his weekend off.
After suffering a fourth straight loss to the Bengals on Thursday, the Jaguars had a weekend free — before they host the Titans in Week 5. Lawrence and Mowry spent Sunday lounging on the couch together, and she shared a sweet selfie of the pair.
“Happy boyfriend day or husband day [I don’t know],” Mowry wrote over the photo shared to her Instagram Story, adding, “Thanks for always dating me.”
Mowry was referencing “National Boyfriend Day,” which falls on Oct. 3.
The college sweethearts tied the knot in April, at a chapel in Bluffton, S.C.
The Lawrences attended a wedding that Mowry was in on Saturday — nearly two weeks after she shared photos from the Jags’ 2021 welcome luncheon with the team’s WAGs.
“Just so beyond grateful to be a part of this program and learn from all these amazing women. It’s truly been such a blessing and honor to be a party of this team,” she wrote on Instagram, gushing over the women.
“The NFL road isn’t as easy as it may seem but these women handle it all and do it with such grace. I have gotten to see the strength they all hold. The love they all share. And the fight they all have. The jags truly have an amazing team and spirit and I just believe so much in this place and program. I’m so excited for all our guys but also so excited and proud of each one of these girls!”
