Arch Manning says Texas feels like ‘home’

Arch Manning seems to be narrowing down his list of schools.

The 2023 five-star quarterback, who’s in his third season at Isidore Newman High School in Louisiana, is a big fan of the Texas Longhorns.

The junior spoke highly of Steve Sarkisian and the team in an interview after Isidore Newman’s’ 59-7 win over Pearl River on Friday.

“Obviously they are great in offense, offensive-minded,” Manning told Orangebloods.com about Texas and Sarkisian — admitting that Austin feels like “home.”

“They haven’t punted in two games. So, they’re really good, and they’re just laid back, good people,” he explained. “That’s the kind of guys I like.”

The 16-year-old nephew of NFL QB legends Peyton and Eli and grandson of Archie Manning Sr. balled out on Friday. He completed 25-of-33 passes and also rushed for 38 yards on four carries.
