James Gunn Can't Wait to Show Fans What Other DC Projects He's Cooking Up!
James Gunn has said several times that working with DC on The Suicide Squad and the Peacemaker spinoff series was a great experience for him. He shared that it was the best time he’s ever had making a movie, so it makes sense that he’d want to continue working with DC and WB.
Gunn previously shared that he’s already been talking with Warner Bros. about other DC projects, but now it sounds like things have moved beyond talk. During a recent Twitter Q&A the filmmaker revealed that he is developing another DC project on top of Peacemaker.
He didn’t share what this new project is, but he did say that he’s excited to show the fans what he and his creative team have been cooking up! You can read those tweets below.
Gunn will next start shooting Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 for Marvel, and he says that very well could be his last movie for Marvel.
As for what he might be developing for DC and WB, it could be anything from a Suicide Squad sequel, to another spinoff, to anything else in the DC universe! Maybe this new project will be revealed during the DC FanDome event.
