FARGO - Halberstadt's is expanding its store in the West Acres Shopping Center.
According to an announcement from West Acres COO Alissa Adams, the men's clothing retailer will expand into the former Motherhood Maternity space.
This will be their fourth expansion at the mall since 2004.
"Halberstadt’s specializes in their guest experience, providing exceptional customer service and the best selection of menswear in the region. This expansion is a testament to their success and their ability to connect to and serve their customers," said Adams.
The expansion will be utilized to increase their selection of seasonally based casual and professional outerwear as well as to provide a wide variety of accessories and bags for men.

The expanded area will include brands such as:
- Save the Duck – outerwear with a focus on sustainability (puffer vests/coats to parkas to raincoats and accessories like bags, hats, etc.)
- Pajar – Outerwear company that’s based in Canada (parkas, puffer coats, and accessories)
- Duluth Pack – bags, backpacks, briefcases, laptop bags
- Outerwear Selections from current brands including: Johnston & Murphy, Citizens of Humanity, Hart Schaffner Marx, Jack Victor, Mizzen + Main
In addition to the mall, Halberstadt's has operated a location at 102 Broadway in downtown Fargo since 2011.
