Miesha Tate surprisingly came out on Twitter and went after Aspen Ladd for various reasons after her weight miss at UFC Vegas 38. The reaction was quite a surprising one from the former UFC bantamweight champion.

It all started when Tate replied to Ladd's apology on social media. She accused the fellow bantamweight of cheating and accused her of weighing more than what was on the scale.

Tate continued her accusations in another tweet as she responded to someone on Twitter. She explains how she felt Ladd cheated.

That was followed up by Ladd's coach, Jim West, jumping in and accusing Tate of lying in a previous engagement. That tweet has since been deleted.

“Miesha Tate you are a coward,” West tweeted. “Remember when you lied saying we wanted you to fight late notice at 145 but you went on record saying we wanted it at 135 and we know for a fact you said you didn’t want that tough of an opponent? Trust me have good inside information.”

Eventually, Aspen Ladd added to the conversation and respectfully defended herself while also showing respect to Tate. She ended the arguing from both sides by admitting she did not make weight and left it at that.

Her coach Jim West ended things by wishing Tate good luck in her upcoming main event fight against Ketlen Viera.

Miesha Tate will return against Ketlen Viera in November. It's unclear when Aspen Ladd is set to return after her fight was scrapped at UFC Vegas 38.
