Fans of NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13 have been on the edge of their seats waiting for the hit CBS series to premiere. Unfortunately, audiences need to wait for a few days before they get to see their favorite characters from the show.

Prior to this, CBS already dropped the official synopsis not just for episode 1 but until episode 3.

The succeeding two episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13 following the premiere will air on Oct. 17 and Oct. 24, respectively.

What Is The Plot For NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13 Episodes 1 to 3?

NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13 Episode 1 is titled Subject 17.

"While Callen (Chris O'Donnell) suspects Hetty (Linda Hunt) of keeping secrets about his past and Joelle (Elizabeth Bogush) surfaces in her quest to capture Katya (Jana Kolesarova), NCIS must track down an informant whose life is in danger. Also, Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) work to expand their family," the synopsis reads.

NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13 Episode 2 is titled Fukushu.

"NCIS takes the case personally when an LAPD officer's father, a beloved elderly Japanese American veteran, is the victim of a vicious hate crime," the synopsis reads.

NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13 Episode 3 is titled Indentured.

"Sam (LL Cool J) and Kilbride (Gerald McRaney) clash when a case involving an arms dealer responsible for the slaughter of ATF agents leads them to a well-connected colonel and friend of Kilbride, accused of supplying militia groups with guns. Also, Kensi and Fatima (Medalion Rahimi) go undercover at a rehab facility to question the arms dealer's girlfriend," the synopsis reads.

The synopses for NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13 Episodes 1 to 3 prove that plenty of storylines will be explored in the hit CBS series.

Will Kensi And Deeks Finally Get pregnant In NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13?

The struggle to have a baby has been ever-present in Kensi and Deeks' lives.

The couple, who both had very difficult childhoods, tried to conceive in the previous episodes of NCIS: Los Angeles. However, they suffered a miscarriage.

But in Season 13, fans can expect to see Kensi and Deeks trying their hardest to have a baby. However, it remains unclear if they will finally be successful.

While speaking with TV Insider, Ruah said that her character, Kensi and Olsen's character, Deeks just want a baby to love and dote on.

"Kensi and Deeks ticked the box [on the adoption application] that race wasn't an issue but didn't think what that might entail. You want this child to relate to their natural-born culture and fit in," the actress said.

Will Anna And Callen Stay Together In NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13?

Callen and Anna (Bar Paly) will still be romantically involved when NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13 premieres. However, this doesn't mean that they will still be together until the end of the season.

While speaking with TV Line, showrunner Scott Gemmill said that the show's writers haven't figured out how they will end the couple's story.

"We haven't resolved how we want to end that. We have a few irons in the fire. With those sort of relationships, sometimes we give ourselves some options, play out the season and see what feels right," he said.

How Many Episodes Will NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13 Have?

CBS has not yet confirmed the number of episodes that NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13 will have. But based on the previous seasons, the number of installments will most likely be between 18 and 24.

Throughout the first 10 seasons of NCIS: Los Angeles, the number of episodes was at an all-time high at 24 installments each.

However, this number was reduced to just 22 episodes in Season 11 and Season 12 only had 18 episodes.

It's understandable why there were only 18 episodes last season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

CBS dropped the official trailer for NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13 recently, and it features fan favorites Kensi, Sam, Callen, and more.

The 10-second clip shows the members of the team engaged in several missions. There's massive fire everywhere, and they are all rushing to save the victims.

CBS also gave fans a first look at NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13 Episode 1, and it shows the team discussing a new case that involves two women having an altercation in public.

While the team is watching the altercation, they soon realize that the two women involved are the two people that they have been looking for.

Callen then tells the group that one of the women is desperate for revenge before the one-minute clip.

Who Will Return To NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13?

All the main cast members will return to NCIS: Los Angeles Season 13.

Following Barrett Foa and Renee Felice Smith's exit, CBS decided to promote Gerald McRaney to series regular. Prior to this, the actor was just a recurring guest star in the TV series.

"When you have an actor of Gerald McRaney's caliber, you do everything you can to make sure you get him as often as possible. Admiral Kilbride has been an esteemed part of our universe for seven years now and we look forward to viewers seeing him come in and shake up our NCIS: LA world," Gemmill told Deadline.
