George and Amal Clooney made a rare red carpet appearance together last night in Los Angeles for The Tender Bar premiere, and Amal brought out a chic silver print cutout dress for the occasion. She complemented George, who wore an all-black suit.

The couple posed side-by-side on the red carpet, opting not to show any dramatic PDA in front of the cameras. It marks their first big red carpet appearance together since May 2019, well before the COVID-19 pandemic began.

On the red carpet, George spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the couple's life quarantining with their 4-year-old twins Ella and Alexander. “It was fine,” he said. “You just feel so bad for the world and all of that, you know? But our kids are 4 and they were two and a half when it started so you know, they weren't missing out on much out in the world. So, you know, I didn't have to teach them trigonometry at home.” Amal added that instead, George has been teaching the kids pranks. “Well, I think those can really pay off over time,” George quipped.

Amal opened up more candidly about how the two handle their busy careers and parenthood. Amal, of course, is a human rights lawyer. “It's probably like many families where both parents work,” she said. “I'm lucky because I have a very supportive partner. And we do move around a lot, but we manage it, and I feel very lucky.”
