A 29-year-old man died Monday morning after crashing into a tree in an Orlando neighborhood, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Just after 4 a.m., the man of Marietta, Georgia, was driving a sedan east on Kaley Avenue, in the Lake Terrace neighborhood, not far from Orlando’s Hourglass District, said FHP’s Lt. Kim Montes.
For an unknown reason, the driver past through a stop sign intersection, left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
The driver was taken to the hospital, where he later died, Montes said.
The crash remains under investigation.
