The time has almost come for us to see Hogwarts Legacy in action, according to an insider. The game set before the events of Harry Potter will take you on your very own adventure as a student of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And for those of us that never got our letter of acceptance to the school, it's an exciting opportunity to finally attend all the classes we want.
An industry leaker has revealed that it's not too long before we get a gameplay reveal, according to Game Centric. Millie Amand on Twitter had previously spoken about Marvel's Wolverine before it was revealed at the PlayStation Showcase not long ago. Now she's claiming that we're finally going to be seeing the gameplay of Hogwarts Legacy before the year is up.
Here is what we've seen of Hogwarts Legacy so far...
She responds to someone on Twitter asking after the Harry Potter game by confirming that we'll know more about it soon. Millie says: "This month or December's Game Awards." In a follow-up tweet, she claims that Hogwarts Legacy was supposed to be shown at the PlayStation Showcase too but the assets weren't ready in time.

Well, that's rather exciting, right? We'll finally get to see what sort of story is involved in our own years at Hogwarts. Let's hope that we're not stumbling across too many basilisks or bogarts, eh? And it'll be a bit of a relief to see everything in action after the game was delayed by a year into 2022.
Additionally, there has been a significant amount of controversy surrounding the game's release because of a developer's YouTube career. Troy Leavitt, who was working as a lead designer on Hogwarts Legacy also made videos on Google's platform, which included titles like "The Injustice of Social Justice," "In Praise of Cultural Appropriation," and "Are Thoughtcrimes Becoming Real?" Journalist Liam Robertson called him "a far-right YouTuber who used to make anti-fem and pro-GG vids". He has since left the project, and Avalanche had to plough on.
