- Carolina’s defense allowed 245 rushing yards, the sixth-most allowed in franchise history, after starting the season giving up just 45.0 rushing yards per game.
- The Panthers did not record a sack and only had one QB hit after entering the game with league-high 14 sacks and 27 QB hits.

Panthers
- Quarterback Sam Darnold etched his name in a number of records after rushing for two touchdowns and throwing for 301 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Darnold became the first quarterback in the Super Bowl era with five rushing touchdowns in the first four games of a season. He also set a franchise record with his third consecutive 300-yard passing game. His performance marked the fourth time in team history (Cam Newton did it three times) that a quarterback rushed for two scores and threw for two more.
- Wide receiver DJ Moore posted his second consecutive 100-yard receiving game and the 11th of his career. He scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, marking his third career multi-score game.
- Running back Chuba Hubbard totaled 71 scrimmage yards on 15 touches in his first career NFL start.
- Wide receiver Brandon Zylstra had a 55-yard catch, the longest of his career.
- Safety Sean Chandler had a team-high eight tackles, which was also a career-high.
Cowboys
- Quarterback Dak Prescott tied a career-best with four passing touchdowns. It marked his second game in less than a week with a passer rating over 130.0.
- Running back Ezekiel Elliott ran for 143 yards, the fifth-most allowed by Carolina to a single player in the last 10 seasons. Elliott’s rushing touchdown was the first allowed to an opposing running back by Carolina this year.
- Cornerback Trevon Diggs had two interceptions as he now leads the NFL with five interceptions in four games this season.
