Hollywood action movie star Daniel Craig is certain former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was even better than James Bond.

English actor Daniel Craig sat down with Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher to promote his new James Bond film “No Time To Die.”

Interestingly, the pair talked about soccer and Carragher quizzed Craig to name who he thinks is as smooth and deadly as James Bond is in the sport.

According to Craig, being a die-hard Jurgen Klopp fan makes it a no-brainer that the Liverpool manager definitely ticks all the boxes. However, he adulated that Manchester United icon Sir Alex Ferguson is “way beyond James Bond.”

“I worship him [Klopp], so yes [he’s a James Bond of soccer]!,” Craig told Sky Sports. “ I’ve been lucky enough to meet him a couple of times, and you just want to follow him.”

“There’s a couple of people I’ve met over the years, the other one is [former Manchester United manager] Sir Alex Ferguson actually,” he added. “He’s a leader. I think he’s way beyond James Bond.”

Indeed Klopp is one of the greatest managers the sport has ever had. However, he too had previously acknowledged in a unique way that the legendary Manchester United boss was superior to them.

“I know it's not 100 per cent appropriate as a Liverpool manager – but I admire him [Sir Alex Ferguson],” Klopp said last year via Goal. “He was the first British manager I met and we had breakfast together. It was long ago and I'm not sure if he remembers it still, but I remember it forever because it was for me in this moment like meeting the Pope if you want!”
