If somebody knows what Ben Simmons is going through right now, that's James Harden. The Brooklyn Nets superstar didn't have a smooth exit from the Houston Rockets, where he played from 2012 through 2021.

The Beard forced his way out of Houston since he believed the team wouldn't compete for a championship. He wanted to be in a better situation, and that's when the Nets showed up. Now, he's ready to start his first full season with the New Yorkers, trying to win the championship they couldn't get last campaign.

Recently, Harden was asked if his situation in Houston was similar to Ben Simmons', but the player stated they are 'totally different.' Moreover, he said that he's over that and hopes everybody else moved on from that, too.

“It was a little uncomfortable for me but I had to go through it. On the other side I’m happy to where I am now. Hopefully, everybody forgot about it," Harden said.

Even though Simmons is using Harden's tactic to leave the Sixers, they have different reasons. While The Beard didn't think the Rockets have much to offer to win the championship, Simmons is part of a competitive team that can make some noise next year.

The situation with Ben got out of control after fans and people within the franchise criticized him following an early second-round exit in the 2021 playoff. His shooting struggles haven't pleased anybody in Philly, and the fans are done with him.

This story is still developing and fans can't wait to see what will happen with Simmons for the rest of the year.
